Madisa Mexico NAXT 365 Go-Live – A Data Migration Transformation
About the Company
Madisa is one of Mexico’s leading heavy equipment distributors, operating across numerous business segments and serving customers nationwide with machinery, solutions, and after-sales services. As a trusted industry leader, Madisa continually invests in modernizing its operations to strengthen performance, enhance visibility, and deliver superior customer experiences. Its decision to move to NAXT 365—powered by Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and Sales (CE)—was a strategic step toward building a unified, future-ready digital platform.

Challenges
Madisa’s transformation journey required addressing one of the most demanding components of any system implementation: data migration. With over 150 master and transactional data objects in scope, this was a complex initiative involving no configuration migration—a pure data migration program for DDPTech.
The project brought together a large global team, combining Spanish-speaking and English-speaking members across Mexico, the UK, Australia, and India. The collaboration demanded precise communication, time zone alignment, and a shared commitment to quality.
Madisa’s existing system landscape contained multiple legacy applications, each with its own logic, formats, and heavy customizations. Migrating this fragmented, heavily customized data into NAXT 365 required significant transformation, cleansing, and standardization. In addition, the solution had to align with Mexico-specific localization requirements, tax structures, and language needs—adding another layer of complexity.
The scale, diversity, and technical demands of the data made this migration both intricate and mission critical.
Solution
Madisa partnered with XAPT and DDPTech to execute a structured and collaborative data migration program. Central to the success was the use of the DDPTech state-of-the-art data migration solution, built with thousands of reusable data quality rules and past IP that significantly accelerated development and validation cycles.
The combined team leveraged several reusable data structures, enabling consistent handling of complex data objects across multiple legacy sources. A disciplined transformation and validation process ensured accuracy at every stage, while Madisa’s business operations team provided essential domain insights to interpret historical data and ensure business readiness.
Through continuous coordination across Mexico, the UK, Australia, and India, the project achieved seamless collaboration and round-the-clock progress. The final migration successfully loaded master and transactional data into an integrated D365 FSCM + CE environment, establishing a single, unified foundation for Madisa’s business processes.
Benefits
With the go-live of NAXT 365 supported by high-quality, validated data, Madisa now operates on a modernized digital platform designed for efficiency, transparency, and scalability. The organization benefits from improved data consistency, reduced reliance on legacy systems, and enhanced operational visibility.
The migration created a robust data backbone that strengthens reporting, streamlines processes, and supports smarter, faster decision-making. Most importantly, the project demonstrated the power of strong leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and world-class technical expertise—delivering a foundation that positions Madisa for ongoing digital growth and operational excellence.
